New Principal Selection

Dear Mary Todd Elementary Families,

Please join me in congratulating Mr. Jones on his upcoming retirement. We will greatly
miss his service to the Mary Todd Elementary community. Due to this announcement, it
is time to begin the important process of selecting the next school leader to serve Mary
Todd Elementary.

I will be the superintendent’s designee to assist with selecting the next principal to lead
Mary Todd Elementary. Earlier this month, I met with your School-Based Decision
Making (SBDM) Council to review the principal selection process and create a timeline
for our work together. One of our tasks will be to develop a principal profile. Our families
and community partners play a critical role in the success of all students. We need your
thoughts and participation to help us find the right person to lead MTE into the future.

Your input is requested to build a candidate profile that will help guide our principal
search. Please complete the survey linked below to help identify the characteristics
you believe to be most important for a principal to possess. The survey will close at
the end of the business day on March 26th, 2025.
